ANDY OGLES DID THAT: National Gas Average Rises to $4/Gallon

Andy Ogles continues to recklessly stand behind House Republicans’ agenda, which is rapidly accelerating the affordability crisis in Tennessee.

In Williamson County alone, gas prices are now at $3.92 per gallon, and the national gas average just hit $4 per gallon, the highest since August of 2022.

REMINDER: A month ago, Ogles was bragging about low gas prices. Now that gas prices in Nashville are the highest they have been in more than THREE YEARS…silence.
The sharp rise in gas prices comes as everyday Americans are struggling to make ends meet as everything gets more expensive. A recent CBS News YouGov poll found that 53% of Americans say Trump is making people WORSE OFF financially. Even worse: 60% of Independents say Trump’s policies are making them WORSE OFF – up from 38% in October 2024.

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
Andy Ogles ran on the promise that he would make life more affordable, but hasn’t done a damn thing to lower prices. This crisis is on extremists like Ogles who spends more time chasing headlines and controversy on Twitter than standing up for Tennesseans as prices continue to rise. Ogles was happy to talk about gas prices before – he should be asked what he thinks about them now.”
