| As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Andy Ogles is hellbent on making life even more expensive for Tennesseans.
Ogles just voted AGAIN against a bipartisan effort to extend ACA tax credits for three years. His vote sends the clear message that he is a threat to Tennesseans’ access to affordable health care.
REMINDER:
- More than 55,000 people in TN-05 rely on the ACA tax credits to afford their health care
- Premiums across TN-05 are set to nearly double with some older Tennesseans now being forced to pay as much as $2,300 a month for their health care
- Because of Ogles’ vote against the ACA tax credits, nearly 25,000 people in his district will lose their health care altogether
The DCCC will continue holding Andy Ogles accountable for his long record of attacking affordable health care and breaking their promise to lower costs for Tennesseans.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Today’s vote is another cruel reminder that Andy Ogles doesn’t care about Tennesseans struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care bills and is instead actively working to raise costs. Voters will remember Ogles’ betrayal at the ballot box.” |
