Two years ago, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law thanks to Angie Craig’s leadership.
The historic legislation, which includes Angie’s bill capping the price of insulin at $35 per month, has delivered for working families across the country by cutting costs, creating jobs, and investing in American manufacturing.
Capped prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients at $2,000 per year (starting in 2025). More than 18 million seniors will save an average of $400 a year, 1.8 million of which could save as much as $2,500 a year.
Kept the health care industry from raising costs on 13,000 people in MN-02 by $2,100 per year.

House Republicans have voted 42 times to repeal the job creating investments in the Inflation Reduction Act – but that hasn’t stopped their vulnerable members from trying to falselytake credit for the jobs and investments created from legislation passed by House Democrats.
