| Despite electricity prices rising twice as fast as inflation this year, Ann Wagner voted to raise energy bills on hardworking Americans today.
House Republicans pushed through an extreme funding bill that slashes $4.4 million from Missouri for programs designed to lower utility bills for American families.
The program most hurt by Wagner and Republicans’ spending bill is the Weatherization Assistance Program, which reduces energy costs for families through energy efficiency.
REMINDER: Under Wagner’s Big, Ugly Law alone, Missourians would see a spike of $637 in annual energy bills.
