Anna Paulina Luna Downplays Cory Mills’ History of Misconduct, Alleged Domestic Violence, Restraining Order as Mere “Shenanigans”

Following her posturing to “hold members accountable” Anna Paulina Luna minimized and downplayed the serious allegations of domestic violence and other ethics scandals surrounding fellow Florida Republican Cory Mills – writing them off as mere “shenanigans” instead of the disqualifying behaviors that they are.
A quick reminder of what Luna thinks are just “shenanigans”

  • restraining order granted to his ex-girlfriend who claimed Mills threatened revenge porn against her and violence against her future partners
  • Allegations that he hired sex workers and endangered lives on his claim-to-fame Afghanistan “rescue mission”
  • An ethics probe unveiling evidence alleging that Mills may have illegally held government contracts as a member of Congress
  • second ethics investigation into allegations Mills illegally funneled corporate money to his campaign
  • Failure to pay over $85,000 in rent for his luxury D.C. penthouse
  • An official House Ethics investigation
  • First-hand reports from veterans that accuse Mills of stolen valor
  • Questionable statements refuted by Mills’ military service records
  • Refusing to disclose which foreign countries his company sells weapons to as he sits on the House Armed Services Committee

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Anna Paulina Luna’s fake commitment to ‘Congressional Ethics’ is clearly barely skin deep. She’s back to supporting her fellow Florida buddy – domestic violence allegations, arms dealing accusations, and ethics investigations be damned.”
