Anna Paulina Luna, Laurel Lee, and Cory Mills Vote To Keep Raising Health Care Costs for Floridians

Luna, Lee, and Mills vote to block ACA tax credits and allow premium costs to keep rising

As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Anna Paulina Luna, Laurel Lee, and Cory Mills are hellbent on making life even more expensive for Floridians.

Luna, Lee, and Mills just voted AGAIN against a bipartisan effort to extend ACA tax credits for three years. Their vote sends the clear message that they are a threat to Floridians’ access to affordable health care.

REMINDER:

  • More than 307,000 people in their districts rely on the ACA tax credits to afford their health care
  • Premiums across Florida are set to nearly double with some older Floridians in their districts now being forced to pay as much as $2,200 a month for their health care
  • Because of Luna, Lee, and Mills’ vote against the ACA tax credits and their vote to gut Medicaid funding, more than 129,000 people in their districts will lose their health care altogether

The DCCC will continue holding Luna, Lee, and Mills accountable for their long record of attacking affordable health care and breaking their promise to lower costs for Floridians.

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
Today’s vote is another cruel reminder that Anna Paulina Luna, Laurel Lee, and Cory Mills don’t care about Floridians struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care bills and are instead actively working to raise costs. Voters will remember Luna, Lee, and Mills’ betrayal at the ballot box.”
