In Anna Paulina Luna’s new bill purportedly protecting IVF, it seems any real protections for the at-risk procedure failed to make the cut.
This is nothing new for Luna, who has proudly displayed her shallow agenda and deceptive nature timeandtimeagain.
The congresswoman’s new legislation is the epitome of a do-nothing bill. It’s simply a deeply disingenuous attempt to posture support for IVF, without addressing how states are actually attacking access to it.
While Luna makes misleading claims about her new bill, Floridians won’t be fooled. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s probably a duck — even if it tries to tell you it’s legislation protecting IVF.
DCCC Spokesperson Lauryn Fanguen:
“Anna Paulina Luna’s bill is yet another meaningless and desperate Republican tactic to save face on IVF. This bill would fail to protect IVF from far-right attacks in Alabama and across the country. If Luna truly cared about protecting access to IVF, she wouldn’t have taken herself off of the House bill that would actually protect IVF nationwide. Luna is only interested in talking points for headlines and political wins.”
