Another Broken Promise: Groceries Cost More Under David Valadao

New analysis finds American families are spending hundreds of dollars more on their groceries with no relief in sight

Groceries keep on getting more expensive, straining already tight budgets for Central Valley families struggling to get by – but David Valadao can’t be bothered to do a thing about it.

new analysis found that American families paid about $310 more for groceries last year on average as costs continue to rise.

There appears to be no relief in sight. December 2025 saw the largest spike in grocery prices since 2022. The administration is still threatening more price-spiking tariffs decimating Valley farmers – and David Valadao is falling in line, seemingly content with everyday families paying more for their food and groceries.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“The Central Valley cannot afford David Valadao’s disastrous agenda. Voters are fed up, and as their grocery bills go up and up, so do the odds that Valadao will lose his seat next year.”
