| Groceries keep on getting more expensive, straining already tight budgets for Alaskan families struggling to get by – but Nick Begich can’t be bothered to do a thing about it.
A new analysis found that American families paid about $310 more for groceries last year on average as costs continue to rise.
There appears to be no relief in sight. December 2025 saw the largest spike in grocery prices since 2022. The administration is still threatening more price-spiking tariffs harming Alaskan businesses – and Nick Begich is falling in line, seemingly content with everyday Alaskans paying more for their food and groceries.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Alaskans cannot afford Nick Begich’s disastrous agenda. Voters are fed up, and as their grocery bills go up and up, so do the odds that Begich will lose his seat next year.” |
