Another FEC Report, Another Day House Democrats Across Battlefield Outraise Republicans

With the last FEC reports before election day released, House Democratic candidates are finishing strong as Republican support stalls out

After dominating Republican candidates across the country in Q3, House Democratic candidates – both Frontliners and Red to Blue candidates – continue to build on their momentum and put up strong fundraising numbers.

Key stats from the last set of candidate FEC reports before election day:

  • In the first two weeks of October, on average, Democratic Frontliners outraised their Republican challengers by over $132,000.
  • 21 DCCC Frontliners outraised their Republican challengers, with Frontliners raising a total of $6.4 million compared to their opponents’ meager $2.9 million in the two-week period.
  • 44 Red to Blue candidates outraised their Republican opponent, with all Red to Blue candidates raising a total of $20.2 million in the period compared to $11.3 million by their Republican opponents.
  • Democratic Frontliners outraised vulnerable Republican incumbents by an average of $74,000.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“House Democrats have the support of the American people, and it shows in their broad level of grassroots support powering their campaigns in the final weeks. While Republican candidates flounder, Democrats across the battlefield are growing their coalitions, with larger and larger levels of grassroots support that will drive them to victory in November.”
