| An extreme anti-abortion group is demanding so-called moderate House Republicans vote against extending the Affordable Care Act tax credits, or else get rated negatively on their anti-abortion scorecard.
As Republicans scramble to address a health care crisis of their own making, anti-abortion groups are working against the interests of tens of millions of Americans who depend on these tax credits to afford their health care.
According to The Hill, the SBA List is bullying Republicans to oppose a simple extension of the tax credits and instead dig their heels on supporting extreme, anti-abortion positions, even threatening to withhold campaign funding for any House Republican who votes for a clean extension of the tax credits.
