Anti-choice group SBA List, which vows to end a woman’s right to choose outright, has already spent more than $30,000 on Wesley Hunt in TX-07
It’s no secret that Wesley Hunt is a fan favorite among the Washington special interests. After all, he’d be nothing more than a rubber stamp for President Trump and his reckless agenda.
But lately, Hunt’s D.C. backers have been joined by extreme voices that threaten health care for Houston women and would overturn a woman’s right to choose. After praising Hunt’s “principled pro-life convictions,” the SBA List – an extreme organization that vows to end abortion outright – has begun spending tens of thousands of dollars on Wesley Hunt’s behalf.
“The biggest threat to Houston women’s health care is Wesley Hunt, who would defund Planned Parenthood, opposes a woman’s right to choose and would jeopardize health care for tens of thousands of Houstonians with pre-existing conditions,” DCCC Spokesman Avery Jaffe said. “Hunt’s extreme anti-choice views are wildly out of step with voters across Houston, but they’re reckless enough to earn him endorsements from right-wing anti-choice groups and tens of thousands in special interest PAC cash.”
