Tea Party Candidates Unite in Henderson
Self-proclaimed Tea Party radical Danny Tarkanian helped hype the crowd at Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence’s rally in Henderson, Nevada today.
While Tarkanian might not know which state Mike Pence governs, he sure knows where the Governor stands on the issues. When it comes to women’s healthcare, the two candidates are about as extreme as you can get.
That’s why it was a perfect fit that Tarkanian, who wants to defund Planned Parenthood and opposes a woman’s right to choose even in the case of rape and incest, was there to help introduce Pence, whose last abortion law was so extreme a federal judge blocked it before it went into effect.
“Danny Tarkanian and Mike Pence are two anti-choice peas in a Tea Party pod,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “Both of them are way too extreme for Southern Nevada.”
