Anti-Semitic, Racist, Conspiracy Theorist Carl Paladino Raises Money for NY House Republicans

According to Punchbowl News, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik held a fundraiser in Buffalo “to help protect House Republicans’ gains in New York.” She was joined by the openly racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic Carl Paladino.

If vulnerable New York Republicans Nick LaLota (NY-01), George Santos (NY-03), Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04), Mike Lawler (NY-17), Marc Molinaro (NY-19), and Brandon Williams (NY-22) accept any assistance from Stefanik this cycle, they will be accepting funds from a man who:

• Praised Adolf Hitler, claiming the fascist dictator is “the kind of leader we need today.”

• Shared a conspiracy post, falsely claiming the Uvalde and Buffalo massacres were false flag operations.

• Has a record of being openly racist, saying he’d like to see former First Lady Michelle Obama “return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”

• Has made openly homophobic statements, and claimed children are “brainwashed” into homosexuality.

• Suggested Attorney General Merrick Garland “probably should be executed.”

REMINDER: Last cycle, Stefanik donated to nearly all of these vulnerable Republicans after campaigning alongside Paladino, and Paladino himself donated $2,900 to Mike Lawler’s campaign.
