April Becker accepted yet another endorsement from an extreme anti-choice group – this time from National Right to Life, which has been long been fighting to enact a nationwide ban on abortion without exceptions.
The work of National Right to Life helped overturn Roe v. Wade, and they even developed model legislation that would allow states to force women and girls to carry their rapist’s child to term.
National Right to Life lawyer Jim Bopp said this on the rape of a 10 year old in Ohio: “She would have had the baby, and as many women who have had babies as a result of rape, we would hope that she would understand the reason and ultimately the benefit of having the child.”
