April Becker Cowers After Abortion Ruling

In the wake of the draft Supreme Court decision that would end the right to an abortion for millions for women, April Becker is dodging question on radical Republican agenda she has aligned with.

Yesterday, the Nevada Current reported that Becker has remained silent on the issue of a federal abortion ban:

“Becker, who is endorsed by ant-abortion groups such as the Susan B Anthony List, has said on her website she support exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother.

“She didn’t answer questions on whether she would vote in favor of a federal abortion ban, an idea pushed by anti-abortion activistst, lawmakers and the Susan B. Anthony List in the event Republicans win complete control of Congress and the White House in 2024.” 

In light of GOP leader Mitch McConnell saying a nationwide abortion ban is “possible,” it’s no wonder Becker is attempting publicly hide from her party’s dangerous agenda – instead choosing to show her support at closed-door fundraisers for radical anti-abortion group Nevada Right to Life over the weekend.

DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“As women’s reproductive rights are threatened by extremist Republicans across the country, April Becker refuses to be honest about her alliance with this disturbing brand of anti-choice extremism.”
