The Big, Ugly Bill keeps on getting uglier.
A new report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office confirms what we already knew: hardworking families will lose under the GOP Tax Scam, while the ultra-wealthy will benefit.
To pay for their massive tax breaks for billionaires and multinational corporations, Republicans are kicking 16 million people off their health insurance by gutting Medicaid and failing to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits. Hospitals will close and nearly 24 million people will see their monthly health care costs increase as a result.
The CBO report comes as everyday Americans struggle to live paycheck to paycheck, citing the cost of groceries as one of their top concerns.
