On CNBC Tuesday, Leader McCarthy failed to defend his blatant efforts to politicize public health, promoting extremist rhetoric that is discouraging vaccines and prolonging the pandemic.
“The priorities and values between our two parties have never been more different. Democrats are giving hard working families their money back, while House Republicans are fighting popular public health measures and threatening to prolong the COVID-19 pandemic even further,” said DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre. “From lies about the vaccine, to threatening reproductive care, to suppressing voting rights, Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans have done nothing but deceive, divide, and try to drag our nation backwards.”
