Emmer Silent on Greene’s Unhinged Antics After Taking $175,000 For NRCC Coffers
As Chairman Tom Emmer and the NRCC continue to hold onto the $175,000 check Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene cut them earlier this year, Emmer has been silent as Greene’s unhinged behavior has reached disturbing new levels with fresh revelations of her harassment of fellow members of Congress, causing some to cite safety concerns.
Greene’s increasingly antagonistic behavior towards her colleagues is just the latest in a string of stunning moves that GOP leadership, including Emmer and Minority Leader “My Kevin” McCarthy, have failed to condemn. Let’s not forget how Greene tried to launch a white power caucus adhering to “uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions,” and immediately after the Derek Chauvin trial ended appeared to lament the guilty verdict and called Black Lives Matter “the strongest terrorist threat in our country.”
