As Tom Kean Jr. Craters and Costs Rise, He and His Allies Resort to Lies

Kean Jr. knows he can’t defend his record of corruption and higher costs. So like clockwork, Kean Jr. and his allies are resorting to flat out lies in new TV ads. 

Here are the facts:

• Tom Kean Jr. voted to spike health care premiums when he backed the One Big Beautiful Bill which failed to extend the ACA tax credits. He has not “prevent[ed] health care premium hikes,” which his ad falsely states.
• Tom Kean Jr. has played the stock market in office and broken his campaign promise to place his assets in a blind trust. He has not been “fighting to ban congressional stock trading,” which an ad from his allies falsely states.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Tom Kean Jr. can dodge the press but he can’t rewrite his record. The facts are clear: Kean Jr. voted to jack up health care premiums, and he has been part of the culture of corruption in Washington that is costing New Jersey families.”
