Ashley Hinson and Mariannette Miller-Meeks Vote Against Stopping Domestic Terrorism

In wake of the mass shooting in Buffalo, House passes bill to help prevent future attacks

This week, the House passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, following the racially-motivated mass shooting in Buffalo, New York. The legislation will set up offices specifically focused on tracking and analyzing domestic terrorist activity at the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the FBI with the goal of preventing devastating attacks, rather than just reacting after the fact.

Ashley Hinson and Mariannette Miller-Meeks joined 201 other MAGA Republicans in the House to oppose legislation to prevent domestic terrorist attacks.

DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn:

“Ashley Hinson and Mariannette Miller-Meeks joining MAGA House Republicans to oppose actions to prevent mass shootings and acts of domestic terrorism is cowardly and indefensible.”
