Don Bacon is finally coming clean and admitting what his actions have always shown: he despises being “force[d]” to work across the aisle.
While discussing the looming government shutdown in an interview this week, Bacon said:
“We’ve asked Republicans to stick together and let’s get a [continuing resolution] that we can support. We have a group that breaks off and forces us to work with the Dems. So some of these folks don’t think.”
Just last week, Bacon sided with his party to elect a Speaker of the House who has supported a total abortion ban with no exceptions, led efforts to slash Social Security and Medicare, and was instrumental in the plan to overturn the 2020 election.

“For once, Don Bacon’s words finally match his actions – he will always prioritize his party’s ineffectiveness and political games over delivering real results for Nebraskans.”
