Banana Republicans: NH-02 GOP Primary Field’s Desperate Response to FBI Raid of Trump

In case you missed it, the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate last night. This could only have occurred with the sign off from a judge after illustrating “probable cause that a crime occurred.”

The NH-02 GOP primary candidates responded by attacking law enforcement, an independent judiciary, and any accountability for Donald Trump.

Bob Burns tweeted that America was turning into a banana republic:

George Hansel, chasing Burns’ hard right response, tweeted this desperate nonsense.

Does Hansel not believe former presidents can be held accountable if they commit a crime?

Lily Tang Williams, following suit, called the FBI’s effort to investigate a crime a “troubling precedent” and tweeting:

“The NH-02 primary field’s ridiculous partisan response to law enforcement doing their job is as embarrassing as it is revealing. Burns, Hansel, and Williams will always put right wing politics over what doing what’s right.”
