 Thanks to Nick Begich and the GOP’s reckless Tax Scam, Alaska’s few remaining clinics offering comprehensive reproductive health care are now in danger.
Begich’s vote guts federal Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, threatening to shutter two of the state’s key health centers and one third of Planned Parenthood locations nationwide.
In a state already facing extreme barriers to reproductive care, the consequences are stark.
One in three Alaskans who rely on Planned Parenthood for essential health care could lose lifesaving access to miscarriage management, cancer screenings, STI and STD testing, family planning services, birth control and vasectomies.
