| Bill Huizenga just showed once again how out-of-touch he is with Michigan – this time by voting against a bipartisan aviation safety bill.
Last night Huizenga cast the deciding vote against the ROTOR Act, bipartisan legislation which “would have required planes to carry a type of tracking technology that federal investigators determined could have helped avoid a midair collision over the Potomac River last year that killed 67 people.”
Before Huizenga cast his inexplicable vote, the chair of the National Transportation Safety Board told reporters: “How many more people need to die for us to decide that action needs to be taken?”
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Bill Huizenga continues to put Michigan last.” |
