As New York Times reports, “In North Carolina, Bo Hines, a Republican House candidate who won his primary in May after proudly highlighting support from Mr. Trump, has deleted the former president’s name and image from his campaign site. A campaign official described the move as part of an overhaul of the website to prioritize issues that are important to general-election voters.”
Try as he might, Bo Hines will never be able to walk back his eager association with the most fringe, extreme members of his party – from Donald Trump, to Marjorie Taylor Greene, to Madison Cawthorn.
“Just last month Bo Hines said he was going to Congress to be a ‘MAGA warrior,’ and now he’s hanging up on reporters asking if he’ll appear on stage with Donald Trump,” said DCCC spokesperson Monica Robinson. “We hope Hines doesn’t hurt himself from all the acrobatics he’s doing to try and cover up his extreme record.” |
