Bob Good Runs Away From Campaign Event…Literally

Run Bob Good, Run!

Just minutes before Bob Good was set to host a transphobic event that was designed “to leverage anti-L.G.B.T.Q. sentiment in the district to generate enthusiasm,” Good bailed, leaving it to the event host to alert community members it would not be taking place.

Good’s decision to hide his face in shame from an event his own campaign planned and put on follows a report from the New York Times detailing Good’s hateful and bigoted event series he was set to start today.

In response to criticism of Good’s decision to run away from voters, their team at first decided to (falsely) blame protesters before apparently changing their mind to say it was combined with another event… Sure, Jan.

“Bob Good is fine spreading hate as a tool to ‘generate enthusiasm’ for his campaign, so long as he doesn’t get caught in the act,” said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “Good’s decision to run away after being revealed for who he truly is lays bare a man who knows his offensive views are out of touch with his district and who is doing his level best to keep them from the public.”
