Jim Bognet, one of “Republicans’ weaker candidates,” who has been propped up by a friend in the Chinese pharma industry in past campaigns and worked at a lobbying firm that pushed Big Pharma’s agenda, has come out against lowering the price of prescription drugs.
The legislation Bognet opposes would allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices and limit out of pocket costs for Medicare seniors.
James Singer, DCCC spokesperson:
“It’s this simple. Jim Bognet is choosing big pharma over lower drug costs and helping seniors.”
