Major new reporting reveals that when Congressman Rob Bresnahan isn’t playing the stock market or flying around in his personal helicopter… he’s spending tens of thousands of campaign dollars on private jet charters.
The Daily Beast reports that “campaign finance disclosures filed by Bresnahan on July 15 showed that he paid $23,369.98 to Jettly, a private jet rental company.” When asked about the Congressman’s luxury travel, Bresnahan and his campaign “did not address the Daily Beast’s questions about the purpose and details of the trip.”
The Daily Beast also reports that Bresnahan flew on his personal helicopter in recent weeks, including an out of state trip to “a coastal town in Rhode Island.” Bresnahan did not address why.
Reminder: Bresnahan was caught taking steps to “hide” his personal helicopter from voters.
While Bresnahan whirls around in private jets and his personal chopper, Northeastern Pennsylvanians are paying more for everything from gas to groceries because of his votes in Washington – including his repeated support for the cost-spiking war in Iran.
