This isn’t the first time Williams has flirted with the idea of cutting a program that more than 130,000 Central Valley and Mohawk Valley voters rely on. Williams, who is a member of the extreme Republican Study Committee, backed a recent budget that cuts taxes for the ultra wealthy and well-connected while leaving working families and the middle class to foot the bill – including slashing Social Security.
