Brandon Williams is dismissing presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s recent attacks on Jewish Americans during a time of heightened antisemitism.
Earlier this week in an interview with Sebastian Gorka, a top Trump administration adviser who has ties to Nazi-linked organizations, Donald Trump said: “Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion, they hate everything about Israel and should be ashamed of themselves.”
When asked about Trump’s comment, Brandon Williams – who has alreadybent the knee in support of Trump – “did not respond to requests for comment.”
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Brandon Williams continues to remain silent in the wake of Trump’s vicious attacks on Jewish voters. Williams is failing Central New York and Mohawk Valley communities by falling in line with Trump’s hateful and antisemitic rhetoric.”
