House Republicans “absolutely” want to repeal existing laws that lower prescription drug prices
Brandon Williams and House Republicans have honed in on one of their closing messages with less than fifty days to go until Election Day: make medicine more expensive.
Williams and House Republicans continue to make it clear that they “absolutely” want to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act and raise prescription drug costs for seniors and families, following in Project 2025 and Williams’ Republican Study Committee’s footsteps.
Not a single House Republican voted for this law, and Williams said he “certainly would not have supported it.”
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Brandon Williams wants to make medicine more expensive for Central New York and Mohawk Valley families. Somehow, Williams’ party found an even less compelling message to run on seven weeks out from Election Day.”
