| Donald Trump’s war of choice in Iran is making gas and groceries even more expensive – and voters are souring on Republican rule because of it.
With just under 100 days until the midterms, Republicans continue to fall in line to fund Trump’s endless war in Iran, and everyday Americans are feeling the pinch.
According to new polling from CNN, 65% of U.S. adults say Trump’s economic and military policies have WORSENED the economic conditions in America. Specifically, 28% approve of his handling of the situation in Iran, only 25% on inflation and a paltry 21% on gas prices.
Taken together, it’s no wonder why Trump’s approval rating has tanked to his all-time low of 34% – the same place he was following the January 6th insurrection. Within his own party, his approval rating has hit a new low of 78%, and just 19% of Republicans say they are enthusiastic about the rest of his second term, down from 38% last spring.
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“The American people are demanding change in Washington. Reckless rubber stamp Republicans have broken every promise they made — and will be held accountable for their failures in November.”
