BREAKING: Bill Huizenga and Tom Barrett Vote Against Extending ACA Tax Credits As Health Care Costs Skyrocket for Michiganders

With ACA tax credits expired, Huizenga and Barrett side with D.C. party bosses to keep it that way

Amid rising unemploymentskyrocketing grocery prices, and climbing utility costs, Bill Huizenga and Tom Barrett are hellbent on delivering another suckerpunch to Michiganders: raising health insurance premiums.

Huizenga and Barrett just voted against advancing the BIPARTISAN measure that would extend ACA tax credits for three years, proving they are working to make life more expensive for Michiganders.

As a result of Republicans’ cruelty, millions of Americans and 530,000 Michiganders are facing increased health care costs, causing many to abandon their coverage altogether.

DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:
Michiganders need leaders who will fight to lower costs, not actively work to jack up prices on everything from groceries, utilities, and today – health care. This open betrayal by Bill Huizenga and Tom Barrett to try to stop the House from addressing the GOP health care crisis will cost them their jobs come November.”
