BREAKING: Constituents “Shout Down,” “Boo” Gabe Evans After He Cast the Deciding Vote to Gut Medicaid

Evans constituent: “We wanted just to let him know we are here … and holding him accountable”

Coloradans are furious that Gabe Evans cast the deciding vote to gut their health care to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Protestors “drowned out” Evans at a press conference Thursday, shouting “one and done” and “Gabe you lie” to the increasingly vulnerable first-term Republican.

New analysis shows that Evans and House Republicans’ plan would rip health care away from 26,257 of Evans’ own constituents.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Gabe Evans cast the deciding vote to rip health care away from thousands of his own constituents. Coloradans are paying attention, and they’ll hold him accountable in 2026.”
