BREAKING – David Valadao Supports Trump For Reelection

VIDEO – Trump Endorsement: “He’s been successful all his life and he’s running for the 21st Congressional district, David Valadao. He is an incredible guy […] we really need him badly in Washington.”

Whelp! There it is!

David Valadao has made it official. After backing the Trump Agenda in Congress, he will back President Trump’s reelection bid, telling the voters of the Central Valley yesterday that Trump has his support in his reelection efforts.

Valadao Endorsing Trump: “I think [Trump] deserves the support here in the Central Valley.”

Host: “Does he have yours?”

Valadao: “Yes.”

Now, David Valadao’s strict allegiance to his party is front and center in his flailing bid to get back to Congress. And despite Valadao twisting himself into knots to claim moderate credentials, Valadao’s voting record shows he is anything but – voting with Donald Trump 99% of the time and standing with him as he campaigns for reelection.

Reminder: Trump’s recent support among Republicans and other conservative voters has begun to seriously erode including in the Central Valley. His approval has dropped to an all-time low of 37%. Secondly, Donald Trump lost this majority-minority district with a 60% Latino electorate by 16 points – maybe that is why Valadao said in 2016 that he could not support Trump’s candidacy as someone “who denigrates people based on their ethnicity, religion, or disabilities.”

“From his Trump endorsement, to campaigning with Trump, to his voting record showing his strict loyalty to Trump, it’s abundantly clear the reason David Valadao wants to get back to DC to get working for Trump and against the Central Valley,” said DCCC spokesperson Andy Orellana. “When Valadao’s not milking the Trump train and its bankrupt plans for the Central Valley, he’s eager and ready to support Trump and his harmful agenda that hurts the families of the Central Valley.”
