| Democrats have taken a commanding 11-point LEAD in the race for control of the House.
A new poll from Quinnipiac finds 51% of voters would want to see the Democratic Party in control of the U.S. House, while just 40% would want Republicans. Among independents, 57% would vote for Democrats – with just 26% preferring a Republican candidate.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Republicans continue to take a nosedive on every issue animating the electorate. For example, Trump is 20 points underwater on handling the economy and 25 points underwater on handling his reckless war of choice in Iran.
Last night, Democrats FLIPPED a state House district in Trump’s backyard that the president won by 11 points in 2024, and are in the lead across the state in a Senate seat Trump won by 7 points in 2024. In total, Democrats have now flipped 30 state legislative seats in elections from red to blue since January 2025. Republicans have not flipped a single one.
