BREAKING from Axios: “GOP weighs health care cuts to pay for Iran war”

Mike Lawler and House Republicans are scheming to pay for Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran, which is reportedly going to cost American taxpayers another $200 billion so far, by further cutting health care from hardworking American families.
Last year, Lawler voted for the largest cut to Medicaid and food assistance in American history to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires. Hospitals, nursing homes and community-based health clinics across the country are closing because of this law. At the same time, Lawler and Republicans failed to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits before they expired, forcing millions of hardworking Americans to choose between higher premium costs or losing insurance all together.
