Extremist Gabe Evans is at it again, this time sending a letter to the Senate asking them to “mitigate” the negative impacts of his own vote to slash clean energy tax credits that are lowering home energy costs and bringing good-paying jobs to Colorado.
Reminder: After insisting for months that he would protect the clean energy tax credits, Evans sold out his constituents by casting the deciding vote to take a “sledgehammer” to Colorado’s economy. Evans’ and House Republicans’ Tax Scam would hike home energy costs, eliminate good-paying jobs, and worsen air quality in Colorado.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Gabe Evans’ letter isn’t worth the paper that it’s printed on. Instead of actually fighting for his constituents, Evans caved to Republican leaders and cast the deciding vote to claw back critical investments from Colorado. What a complete and utter fraud.”
