The National Journal’s first 2026 House Power Rankings listed CO-08 as the second most competitive race next November, spelling BIG trouble for Gabe Evans – the most vulnerable sitting member on the list.
“Winning reelection as a freshman is one of the most difficult feats in politics…. It’s likely to be another knife fight in a dark alley.”
This comes as no surprise after Evans cast a cruel, unpopular, and decisive vote to kick his constituents off their health care, rip food off the tables of Colorado families, and make life more expensive for Coloradans – all so he can give Republicans’ billionaire donors more tax breaks.
