CBO Report Finds GOP Tax Scam would force nearly $500 billion in cuts to Medicare starting next year
House Republicans are recklessly jamming through their Tax Scam, which, according to new reporting from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, would force nearly $500 billion in cuts to Medicare.
Because their dangerous scheme would add over $2.3 billion to the national deficit, the CBO projects budget officials would be forced to make across-the-board cuts to Medicare, affordable health care for seniors and people with disabilities.
This news comes after the CBO has projected nearly 14 million Americans will be at risk of losing their health insurance if House Republicans get their way.
