BREAKING: House Republicans Extend Weeks Long Vacation Amid GOP Shutdown

Mike Johnson cancels votes for another week, refusing to solve the Republican health care crisis

On day three of the Republican Shutdown, Mike Johnson and House Republicans announced they would NOT return to Congress next week.

For weeks, the GOP-controlled House has refused to hold a single vote to fix the health care crisis they created.

DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“Speaker Johnson is rolling over and the so-called moderate House Republicans are standing idly by. Come back to Washington, cancel the cuts, and save health care. Do your job.”

REMINDER: New polling today from KFF finds 78% of respondents think Congress should extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, including 82% of Independents and 59% of Republicans. This follows months of research from Trump’s own pollsters.
