Spineless Juan Ciscomani is at it again, this time sending a letter to the Senate asking them to “mitigate” the negative impacts of his own vote to slash clean energy tax credits that have created “life-changing” jobs and manufacturing projects in Arizona’s sixth congressional district.
Reminder: After insisting for months that he would protect the clean energy tax credits, Ciscomani sold out his constituents by casting the deciding vote to take a “sledgehammer” to his own district’s economy. Employers like Lucid Motors in Ciscomani’s district, which has “quadrupled” their footprint in Casa Grande in recent years, could lay off workers if Ciscomani’s plan becomes law.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Juan Ciscomani’s letter isn’t worth the paper that it’s printed on. Instead of actually fighting for his constituents, Ciscomani caved to Republican leaders and cast the deciding vote to claw back critical investments in his own district. What a complete and utter fraud.” |
