BREAKING: Max Miller, Mike Turner, and Mike Carey Vote Against Aviation Safety

Miller, Turner, and Carey all voted against air safety and against the wishes of the families of victims of the Potomac air collision

Max Miller, Mike Turner, and Mike Carey just showed once again how out-of-touch they are with Ohio – this time by voting against a bipartisan aviation safety bill.

Miller, Turner, and Carey cast decisive votes against the ROTOR Act, bipartisan legislation which “would have required planes to carry a type of tracking technology that federal investigators determined could have helped avoid a midair collision over the Potomac River last year that killed 67 people.”

Before these vulnerable Ohio Republicans cast their inexplicable vote, the chair of the National Transportation Safety Board told reporters“How many more people need to die for us to decide that action needs to be taken?”

Miller, Turner, and Carey’s votes are a slap in the face to all of the victims and their families of the Potomac River crash – including three Ohioans.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Max Miller, Mike Turner, and Mike Carey continue to put Ohio last, and they will face the consequences at the ballot box this November.”
