BREAKING: Scott Perry Votes Against Aviation Safety

Perry votes against air safety and against the wishes of the families of victims of the Potomac air collision

Congressman Scott Perry just showed once again how out-of-touch he is with Pennsylvania – this time by voting against a bipartisan aviation safety bill.

Perry cast the deciding vote against the ROTOR Act, bipartisan legislation which “would have required planes to carry a type of tracking technology that federal investigators determined could have helped avoid a midair collision over the Potomac River last year that killed 67 people.”

Before Perry cast his inexplicable vote, the chair of the National Transportation Safety Board told reporters“How many more people need to die for us to decide that action needs to be taken?”

Perry’s vote is a slap in the face to all of the victims and their families of the Potomac River crash – including those from Pennsylvania.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Scott Perry continues to put Pennsylvania last.”
