A new bombshell report from Politico confirms that vulnerable Republican Scott Perry (PA-10) aided Donald Trump in his effort to overturn the 2020 election — a lie that culminated in the tragic and deadly insurrection on January 6.
Previously undisclosed court documents detail “an extraordinary web of communications between Perry, who is now the chair of the House Freedom Caucus, and key figures in Trump’s orbit.”
Since the deadly attack on the nation’s Capitol, Perry has downplayed the events of January 6, continuing to falsely claim no insurrectionist was armed and even opposing a vote to honor the law enforcement who gave their life to protect his own.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“There is now no denying that Scott Perry played a direct role in the effort to overturn the 2020 election, which led to the deadly insurrection at the Capitol. Voters in central Pennsylvania deserve real representation, not a treasonous thug who’s busy playing phone tag with a bunch of indicted criminals.”
