“Bresnahan Campaigned Against Higher Costs in 2024. Then He Voted for the Iran War 6 Times”

Resurfaced audio shows how Bresnahan lied to NEPA voters about spending money overseas while costs rise here at home

Rob Bresnahan just got caught in yet another lie.

Audio from 2024 resurfaced by The Keystone reveals that Bresnahan falsely claimed he opposed spending money overseas while prices rise here at home. Bresnahan said: “My problem…is when you pay your taxes and then you look and see another $10 or $100 billion being sent to a different country, and the people right here already can’t afford groceries.”

But now that he’s in office? Bresnahan has voted six times to rubber-stamp the war in Iran that has cost taxpayers over $43.6 billion and sent diesel prices to historic highs.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Rob Bresnahan is a serial liar who has voted repeatedly to continue the war in Iran that has sent gas and diesel prices soaring. Northeastern Pennsylvanians can’t afford Rob Bresnahan.”
