Brian Fitzpatrick Greenlights Scheme to Raise Taxes On Middle-Class Families, Kick Millions Off Health Insurance

This morning, Brian Fitzpatrick voted to advance a massive tax scam that would result in millions losing health insurance, raise costs on Pennsylvanians, and jack up taxes for middle-class families while giving a huge handout to the ultra-rich.

Fitzpatrick provided a crucial vote to pass an out-of-control tax scam out of Committee that:

• Permanently lowers taxes for millionaires and raises taxes for the working class.

• Fails to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits that will result in millions losing high-quality, private sector health insurance.

• Hands out a permanent estate tax break to the wealthiest 0.1%, costing everyday Americans $200 billion.

Even worse: When Fitzpatrick had a chance to vote on an amendment that would extend ACA tax credits for millions of Americans, he skipped out on the vote.
