| If you want to know how scared Brian Fitzpatrick is to face top-tier recruit Bob Harvie in November, all you have to do is follow the money.
New reporting today reveals that Fitzpatrick has already spent a whopping $1.46 million between January 2026 and the beginning of May, “which is the most of any congressional candidate in Pennsylvania.”

There’s a reason why Fitzpatrick is blowing through cash like never before: He’s terrified of facing off against Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie, who’s been touted as “one of the strongest candidates Democrats have ever recruited” in PA-01.
Just look at the facts:
- Reporting from PoliticsPA revealed that Fitzpatrick is spending his campaign cash on anti-Harvie mailers and digital ads in a desperate attempt to meddle with Democratic primary voters because he’s afraid of facing Harvie.
- And another report reveals that Fitzpatrick has been spreading “a verifiable lie” in paid advertisements and statements by falsely accusing his Democratic opponent Bob Harvie of being the subject of an FBI investigation. The fact check states unequivocally: “Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie is not under investigation by the FBI and has not been charged with a crime.”
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Follow the money: Brian Fitzpatrick is blowing campaign cash because he’s terrified of facing Bob Harvie in November. Fitzpatrick knows he faces the toughest race of his political career and is no longer able to defend his cost-spiking record.”
