Brian Fitzpatrick Refuses to Say Whether He Will Endorse Trump

Yesterday, vulnerable Republican Brian Fitzpatrick, who is in the midst of a Republican primary and “represents a Biden won Pennsylvania district, declined to say whether he would be endorsing Trump.”

Now, Super Tuesday has come and gone, and the Republican Party has made Trump the presumptive nominee and backed his dangerous, extreme record of:

  • Facing 91 felony charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States for his efforts to overturn a free and fair election, including by directing a “violent” and “angry” mob to the Capitol on January 6th.

  • Leading the MAGA movement to slash Social Security and Medicare.

  • Actively instructing House Republicans to oppose any bipartisan solution to fix our border in order to gain political points during an election year.

Despite his efforts to duck questions on the GOP’s presumptive nominee, Fitzpatrick certainly acted like a Trump loyalist after he was endorsed by Trump in 2020 and voted against a select committee to investigate the violent January 6 insurrection.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Brian Fitzpatrick has a history of enabling MAGA extremism in Congress, so why wouldn’t he support that same chaos when it comes to the presidency? Pennsylvanians deserve to know, will Brian Fitzpatrick finally admit his support for Donald Trump?”
